1. When your friends ask you to hangout, and you don’t feel like it, don’t go. Don’t ever do things halfway or do something that makes you uncomfortable. With everything, give all of yourself, even the pieces you never knew existed.
2. It is okay to not know. Everyone always despises the phrase, “I don’t know” but no one tells you that it is okay to not know. The becoming is more important than the being, anyways.
3. If someone ever makes you feel less, in any way, you have every right to walk away. You have every right to cut out toxic people in your life. To close the door on people who make you feel bad about who you are or what you stand for. Friends don’t tear down, they build up.
4. Loss is always going to happen. Just like paint will always chip and rain will always fall, loss will always be part of life. No matter how much I don’t like it, or avoid it, it is going to walk my way at several times in my life. Learn to embrace it and learn to get closure.
5. Give yourself a chance. Stop saying, “I don’t think I can” or “But what if I am not able to?” and give yourself a chance. This may be cliche, but try to believe in yourself. When you get older, your knees won’t work the same and you won’t have the best memory, and you are going to wish you’d given yourself a chance years sooner.
6. Fall in love. Don’t be guarded before you fall in love. You could fall in love three times and still not find the right one, but none of it is going to make “the one” matter less. Don’t fall into that idea that your first love has to be your best love. Fall in love as many times as it naturally happens.
7. Firsts are going to be messy. First loves, first kisses, first dates, first failed tests, first college class, first time you drive a car, first time you ride a plane - first times were made to be imperfect. Just because it’s messy and all over the place, doesn’t mean it can’t be good or worthwhile.
8. You want another scoop of ice-cream? Go get it. Get three more scoops of ice-cream if that is what you want. “Fat” is not the opposite of beautiful and it is not the opposite of happy. Don’t let anyone tell you that your body type isn’t beautiful. Beauty is a social construct, create your own, become your own.
9. Let yourself be alone. Loneliness is not a bad thing. It is healthy and normal. Everyone needs to spend a good portion of their life alone. We learn who we are when we are alone; life is less crowded and more clear when we are alone.
10. If you aren’t happy where you are, change it. Quit your job, move, become a vegetarian, get a new hobby, pick up an old hobby, whatever you do - make sure it benefits you. Life is too short to not be alive, to not be passionate, and overflowing.

3. Subsist on poor quality food. Not because they want to, but because they can’t afford high-quality, nutritious food. They’re trapped in a food system that subsidizes processed foods, making them artificially cheaper than natural food sources. 5. Work longer and harder than most of us. While it’s popular to think people are poor because they’re lazy (which seems to be the whole point of Ramsey’s post), the poor actually work longer and harder than the rest of us. More than 80 percent of impoverished children have at least one parent who works; 60 percent have at least one parent who works full-time. 6. Go to bed 3 hours before their first job starts. Number 15 on Ramsey and Corley’s list was, “44% of [the] wealthy wake up three hours before work starts vs. 3% of [the] poor.” It may be true that most poor people don’t wake up three hours before work starts. But that could be because they’re more likely to work multiple jobs, in which case job #1 means they’re probably just getting to bed three hours before job #2 starts. 7. Try to avoid getting beat up by someone they love. According to some estimates, half of all homeless women in America ran away to escape domestic violence. (Source: National Coalition for the Homeless, 2009)
9. Pay more than their fair share of taxes. Some conservative pundits and politicians like to think the poor don’t pay their fair share, that they are merely “takers.” While it’s true the poor don’t pay as much in federal income tax — usually because they don’t earn enough to qualify — they do pay sales tax, payroll tax, etc. In fact, the bottom 20% of earners pay TWICE as much in taxes (as a share of their income) as do the top 1%. 10. Fall further behind. Even when poverty is the result of poor decision-making, often it’s someone else’s choices that make the difference. If you experience poverty as a child, you are 3-4 times less likely to graduate high school. If you spend your entire childhood in poverty, you are 5 times less likely to graduate. 11. Raise kids who will be poor. A child’s future earnings are closely correlated to their parents’ earnings. 17. Receive less in subsidized benefits than corporations. The US government spends around $60 billion on public housing and rental subsidies for low-income families, compared to more than $90 billion on corporate subsidies. Do you have any advice on accepting your place in the world compared to others. What I mean is, I've been having trouble recently realizing that there are people in the world, especially that I know, or who live in my area that are homeless, or depressed, have had the death of a sibling or family member, or have lost all hope, and similar situations. How do I deal with feeling that sort of guilt over not being in that situation? That some people just have it so much worse, and don't deserve it?
Stop comparing yourself to others. The truth is that one life is too unique to compare with another. From the outside in, it may not seem that way. But from the inside out, every world is incredibly different.
We must take responsibility for our inner state at all times. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to help others if they are homeless, depressed, dealing with loss, or suffering. Compassion always invites us to relate with and help others. But it is every individual’s responsibility to find their own clarity with regard to how they meet their circumstances.
Being homeless, suffering a loss, wrestling with any sort of challenge is already a difficult affair. It is only made more cumbersome by reacting with disturbance or aversion.
Your circumstances, events, challenges, wealth, and successes are all impermanent. But your attitude is continuous.
You must take responsibility for your feelings of guilt, which in reality don’t make anyone’s life any better. Who are we to pity anyone? Everyone is of the same mighty reality. If you can emerge from your own illusions regarding this truth, then you will become capable of a compassion and insight that will find its own way to alleviate the suffering of those who come into your life.
All the beings in all the worlds rediscover the peace and happiness that is their heritage.
What is your knowledge and experience with Akashic Records or The Book of Life?
Well the Akashic Records from my perception is like a record of all experience, knowledge, etc. It’s like an accumulation of all the Soul’s Incarnations, and lifetimes, on all different levels dimensionally speaking. It’s like the Universal Mind’s records.
My experience with it is ongoing. I would say you can access almost anything, if you merge into Universal Consciousness, even briefly. I believe through the Unconscious, and Collective Unconscious you can connect with the Universal Collective Unconscious (I just made that up), which could be called the Akasha. I’ve connected and discovered and (re)experienced past lives. I’ve had other experiences I might consider relating to the Akasha, but namely that.
All information, all experience is accessible. Everything past, future and present is available now. It’s a matter of making the connection. One’s consciousness must tune into the level where the Akasha exists, or at least can be transmitted. Some people get information audibly some visually, and still some others may have a ‘feeling’ or ‘knowing (…or any combination of.
As I’ve mentioned, and from my perception, there are multiple levels to the information that can come outside of the conscious mind. I would say from my experience and knowledge it goes in this order (going further ‘out’). Conscious Mind, Unconscious Mind, Collective Unconscious, Universal Consciousness/Mind. The latter is were the Akasha would reside.
