DMT Trip (Feb. 22/2012) Report

I sat down on my friends couch in his basement and lit the bowl of weed and DMT, then swiflty inhaled the smoke in the chamber. As I set the bong down I felt myself slowly dissolve into a higher state of awareness. Everything around me appeared to deconstruct into a purer state of being. It was like everything appeared as it was, lit from the inside out.

As far as I could tell, everything that was within my vision began glowing brightly and would transform into various geometric shapes and configurations, it was a very intricate dance of colour and shape. The floors, ceilings, and walls had transformed into beautifully decorated works of art. The chair, speakers, and coffee table slowly dissolved out of my perception and a new reality was being constructed right before me.
We had the radio on and I definitely noticed that my auditory perception was changing.. the noises that oozed out of the speakers sounded like foreign-alien twists and round-a-bouts. The sounds made you feel as though you were on a roller-coaster ride at a fun house.

I was still aware of myself sitting on the couch, and as I was experiencing the perception changes I also became more aware of myself as a vertical vortex of infinite expansion. I felt as though I was dying and being born.
Physically, you feel heavy pressure on your chest, and an intense vertical lifting feeling, like you’re being ejected out into space. Feels as though your very reality is collapsing, like you can leave your body behind. It is a wonderful feeling; a strange, scary, beautiful, wonderful feeling.

As I reached my “peak destination”, I become aware of the fact that everything was made of a very high energetic frequency. Everything around me looked white-hot and glimmered in gold. I felt peace, harmony, home.

I realized there were fragments of my friends living room still invisioned within this new reality, then after I thought about how weird that was, it dissapeared. This made me realize that in this realm manifestation happens instantly.

I think the most intriguing part of my trip was when a few green, geometric, spiky beings appeared to me, and they were creating geometric, fractal extensions of themselves. They were showing me these things and also trying to convey many other pieces of information, which I simply could not understand because it went beyond anything that this human brain can process at this rate in this frequency.
I also remember hearing Great Spirit speaking to me throughout the trip, guiding me through it in a way.

Eventually I started to feel myself coming down, and that’s literally what it feels like.. as though you are water, being poured through a funnel back into a cup. My visual perception eventually faded back into what I usually perceive as “normal” reality and I was once again back down on earth.
This experience was very refreshing, I felt very energetic and at peace afterwards.

In my opinion, DMT and all other psychedelic substances should be treated with respect. These are not toys—they are tools, for navigating the field of conscience. They are here with a purpose, they can teach us a lot if we should choose to listen to and handle them with care.
Psychedelic experiences (not necessarily involving substances) open doors to other realms of existence. For us humans, it is very important to take notice of this because it is through these voyages that we can gain new insight and creative ideas that may benefit our world for the better.

We are indeed multi-dimensional beings and we need to never cease questioning our existence. When you expand your conscience, you expand every aspect of your reality which in turn allows you to understand which much more clarity your purpose in the Cosmic Dance itself. When you expand your conscience, you gain access to the infinite knowledge that is encoded into the reality all around us.

Sometimes you wonder, I mean really wonder. I know we make our own reality, and we always have a choice, but how much is preordained? Is there always a fork in the road, and are there two preordained paths that are equally preordained? There could be hundreds of paths where one could go this way or that way—there’s a choice, and it’s very strange sometimes. And that’s a good ending for our interview. Goodbye, till next time.

Everything can be used as an invitation to meditation. A smile, a face in the subway, the sight of a small flower growing in the crack of cement pavement, a fall of rich cloth in a shop window, the way the sun lights up flower pots on a windowsill. Be alert for any sign of beauty or grace. Offer up every joy, be awake at all moments, to “the news that is always arriving out of silence.” Slowly, you will become a master of your own bliss, a chemist of your own joy, with all sorts of remedies always at hand to elevate, cheer, illuminate, and inspire your every breath and movement.

The heart is like a flower—unless it is open it cannot release its fragrance into the world.
The fragrance of the heart is made up of the qualities and virtues of our spirit. Most of us have learned how to keep our heart closed in a world that would trample all over us if we let it.

Being open-hearted today seems to require tremendous courage. It is a courage which comes only when we realise that no one can hurt us, no matter what they say or do. They may hurt our body, but if we have realised we are spirit, nothing outside can touch us, if we so decide. Little by little, practice opening your heart to those you think have hurt you. Realize it wasn’t them that hurt you, it was yourself. And it taught you not to trust and you closed your heart.
A closed heart is in need of opening. And when you do, you will have begun to heal yourself.

Learn to get in touch with the innermost essence of your being. This true essence is beyond the ego. It is fearless; it is free; it is immune to criticism; it does not fear any challenge. It is beneath no one, superior to no one, and full of magic, mystery, and enchantment.

Our efforts to change ourselves and to change the environment are both necessary , but one can’t happen without the other. We know how difficult it is to change the environment if individuals aren’t in a state of equilibrium . Our mental health requires that the effort for us to recover our humanness should be given priority.

"According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment.. just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don’t bother you anymore. You become light hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities.
And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.”—Deepak Chopra

This I know. That the only way to live is like the rose which lives without a why.

You might as yourself over a period of a thousand years the following question: ‘Why are you alive?’ And still the only response you would recieve would be: ‘I live so that I may live.’

Why does this happen?

Because life rises from it’s own foundation and rises out of itself. Therefore, life lives without a reason—life lives for itself.

All you need is just to be watchful, and nothing will affect you. This unaffectedness will keep your purity, and this purity has certainly the freshness of life, the joy of existence—all the treasures you have been endowed with. But you become attached to the small things surrounding you and forget the one that you are. It is the greatest discovery in life and the most ecstatic pilgrimage to truth. And you need not be an ascetic, you need not be anti-life; you need not renounce the world and go to the mountains.

You can be where you are, you can continue to do what you are doing. Just a new thing has to be evolved: Whatever you do, you do with awareness, even the smallest act of the body or the mind—and with each act of awareness you will become aware of the beauty and the treasure and the glory and the eternity of your being.
